Hello, parachuting in as an IP lawyer who has read countless patents to say, NO, this should not be "groups."

The "group" in question is the list of things that the group "consists" of -- in other words, "inulin, oligosaccharides, fructooligosaccharides, soluble fibres, pectin, fermentable fibres."

Patent claims 1 through 3 cover substances whose prebiotic source is one of the things listed as belonging to that defined group.

The fact that (as you noted) several items in that list could be classified as subcategories of other items in that list does not matter. This is how the patent prosecution attorney chose to define the claims, and you MUST stick to that.

Logiquement, après "one or more of the", group devrait se lire au pluriel (groups), d'autant qu'il me semble qu'on peut grouper les éléments de l'énumération:
- polysaccharides (inuline, oligoholosides/oligosides, fructo-saccharides)
- fibres (fibres solubles, pectine, fibres fermentables...)
- produits végétaux contenant des polysaccharides

Sinon, "éléments" devient sous-entendu puisqu'on ne peut "select from one or more of" a [single] group" (de "glucides") que ses éléments/constituants. D'où:

Utiliser selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3 dont l'agent prébiotique [est tiré d'] [comporte] au moins un des groupes constitués d'inuline[s], d'oligo[holo]sides, de fructo-oligosaccharides, de fibres solubles, de pectine, de fibres fermentables ayant [une action] [des propriétés] prébiotique[s] et de produits végétaux contenant de l'inuline ou des oligo[holo]sides."
