Spanish term
la disposición tercera incluye previsiones sobre publicidad de actividades
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
Royal Decrees, BOE, Organic Laws
I am translated a Spanish Royal Decree. The Law includes "disposiciones" translated as "provisions" (general provisions, additional provisions, etc.) but some other times the law refers to "previsiones" as in the example.
If I translate "disposición" as "provision", how can I translate "previsión".
Does "prevision" have the meaning of "forecast"?
...la disposición tercera incluye previsiones sobre publicidad de actividades...
...contienen a nivel legislativo las previsiones generales relativas a las mismas...
... así como la intensificación de las previsiones normativas en materia de...
...En la actualidad ya se contemplan, si bien de forma dispersa, distintas previsiones en la propia Ley....
Thank you.

"The third provision includes regulations on on the advertising of activities", (although pleaso note site rules require you to post a single term rather than a sentence)
Precuación in this case means a "precuationary measure", which in the context can be safely translated as "regulation" or "rule"

With apologies for my poor typing: "precaución" and "precautionary measure" of course

Another andwer is to translate disposición as something other than Provision, namely as the Headline Regulation of the *Enactment*.
Otherwise, there might - for prospective thinkers ahead to the next lines - be a non-precautionary overlap of regulatory regulations vs. provisions for 'intensificación de las previsiones normativas'.
