Italian term

in rapporto a

Italian to English Medical Medical (general) Brain CT scan
"Minima diffusa sfumata ipodensita' della sostanza bianca periventricolare posteriore ***in rapporto a*** leucoencefalopatia su base verosimilmente ipossico-ischemica."

Sentence from a brain CT scan. Wondering how to render "in rapporto a" here - "consistent with"?

I'm presuming the radiologist is making the assumption ("su base verosimilmente") that the leukoencephalopathy has a hypoxic-ischemic cause.
These medical notes are very long, and a lot of the features are repeated throughout, but this is the only mention of this leukoencephalopathy.

Many thanks in advance.

PML lesions usually show up as white or dark spots on the MRI—distinctly different from other brain infections. Most specialists can make a confident diagnosis based on this information. Other tests may also be done to confirm the diagnosis, including a spinal tap.
