German term

Aktiv-O

German to English Science Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng Test results from pharmaceutical certificate of analysis
This is from a statement on the test results (Prüfergebnisse).

The term in question falls under the column that has the heading Prüfmerkmal.
Under Prüfermerkmal, the following are listed:

Chargen Nr.
Menge pro Charge
Aktiv-O
Peroxid

The "Dimension" of Aktiv-O is measured in percentage.

This is from a German pharmaceutical company's records to be translated into U.S. English.

Is this an active ingredient?

Any constructive tips on this would be appreciated.

active oxygen

O is the chemical symbol/abbreviation for oxygen, so I think this refers to "Aktivsauerstoff":

You can probably use the abbreviation "active O" in English, too:

V. Paluka et al. "Dehydrogenation of ethanol to acetaldehyde with nitrous oxide over the metal–organic framework NU-1000: a density functional theory study":
"....Thus the N–O bond breaking with formation of the ***active O*** can take place with the ethanol dehydrogenation following"
