: But what justification can you find for 'sell up' = 'still have'? Normally, if you 'sell up' something, in EN it means you no longer have it. / Exactly as I have just explained: expressions like 'sell up', 'give up' etc. all mean 'no longer have'.

: I think “still have” may have been misheard as “sell up” and “boyish” as “boys” … possibly by voice recognition software. I think this makes sense logistically. It’s the kind of thing somebody would say ironically.

Definitely NOT correct. This question should have been closed without grading as "other" and should not have a glossary entry.
@ Tony not Canadan usage at all to my knowledge though possibly a French Canadian with below-par English. "sell up" is wrong here imo but don't know what it should be. Perhaps I "shall up" = increase
It's possible that this is a specifically Canadian usage.
