Spanish term or phrase: Operacion and Liquidacion
I'm translating a Mexican bank statement from BBVA, and I'm stuck on two terms (operacion and liquidacion) that appear as headings above the transaction portion of the statement. For context, here is a sample of the same type of statement available online:

If you look on page 1 under "Detalle de Movimientos Realizados," you'll see the following headings:

OPER. // LIQ. // DESCRIPTCION // REFERENCIA // CARGOS // ABONOS // OPERACION // LIQUIDACION

I'm confused about OPER/OPERACION, AND LIQ./LIQUIDATION.

Asker: Thanks for your response! Those are the two terms I was using as well, but was a little unsure about "settlement" for a generic bank statement. Thanks for your concern about client privacy, this is a link to a document I found online that is similar to the one I'm working on and is for your reference only. It is not my client's document, so their identity and information is safe.

agree  Luis M. Sosa: Yes, it refers to the date the client initiated/ordered a transaction and the acutal date of settlement in the bank's books.
