Spanish term or phrase: carrera
I know this has been asked many times before but I'm still not clear for my purposes today. I have just spent (wasted?) half an hour on UBA website trying to establish whether their postgraduate course "Medical Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging", described in my document as a "Carrera" is considered a Degree, a Certificate or something else.

I was quite happily translating "carrera" as "course" until I hit this road block:

'...cambió la categoría de "Curso" por la de "Carrera de Médicos Especialistas en Diagnóstico por Imágenes"

After reading a few other proz answers I decided to change to "degree" but now after doing a bit more research, I've decided that it isn't necessarily a degree and to call it such would be misleading.

Notes to answerer
Asker: But, as I said, I'm not sure that it is a degree. A degree is a specific level of course in English. Not all postgraduate courses are degrees and the UBA international website here: https://www.uba.ar/internacionales/contenido.php?id=468&lang=en&msclkid=a0e9199aaa5711ec9d682d4cd30a21pt doesn't list it as a degree, where there are others taht are listed at least as 'Master's Degree'
