When I googled 'suspendieren eines Arzneimittels' this is what I got:

Suspendieren bedeutet, dass man die Tabletten vor der Anwendung in etwas Flüssigkeit zerfallen lassen kann.

I know the source text means suspension but it confirms my opinion that the German source text is not well written.

Does the source text mean:

Can the drug be suspended as in mixing, the suitability of the drug for suspension or does the company offer their drugs as suspensions? It would be great to know exactly what they mean.

I am still of the opinion that this term is 'obscure' if you know what a linguist means with 'obscure'. I don't know if you are a linguist in the first place. I can only recall that you have studied chemistry because at some point in these months/years posting questions I saw your profile and registered in my mind the fact that you studied chemistry, which is great, don't get me wrong. I have studied translation and interpretation in Germany, thus, I am a linguist and in all humbleness, I am 'a doctor at heart'. I can say that in all humbleness, I also understand something about chemistry and therefore, I am confident, posting answers to medical/pharmaceutical/chemistry questions, even if you think they are wrong. In addition, I don't find it professional to tell us 'If you don't understand what a suspension is, why post an answer?'. You often post answers to legal questions and you are not a lawyer, for example, but I wouldn't dream to write something of the kind to you as you just did to us.

This term is not obscure. It has nothing to do with dissolution either. If you don't understand what a suspension is, why post an answer?
