Arabic & More May 12, 2022:
I would also add that the sentence is meant to be somewhat humorous/funny (although the humor is a bit dark).
Arabic & More May 12, 2022:
More details I do not have a specific suggestion for the Arabic translation, but I wanted to help clarify the meaning of the sentence in English.

When you “warm up to someone,” it means that you gradually start to like them or become more receptive to them or their ideas. In order for this to happen, there must be good chemistry between you and the other person. “Good chemistry” is what happens when your interactions feel natural and positive rather than forced. When the chemistry is bad, however, then it becomes difficult to warm up to the other person. Obviously, good chemistry is needed for successful negotiations since we don’t usually prefer to compromise or negotiate with people whom we don’t like in the first place.

Fire is not just warm…it is hot – and people who are cremated are burned in hot fire until their bodies turn into ashes.

So, the sentence basically means the following:

If the chemistry between two people is so bad that they can’t “warm up” to each other even when they are sitting together in a hot oven, then this “bad” chemistry is going to get in the way of negotiation.

And yes, the pronoun “them” refers back to “somebody.”

Since it's in Financial term, I think what they mean by chemical reaction is first impression, warming up means liking someone, then the expression: warm up to somebody if you were cremated with them" is an exaggeration, meaning there won't be no heat (liking) even if you were cremated together (Have same interests).
