normal/positive

On the toxoplosmosis side, the findings are currently positive in both eyes.
Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : "Positive" is ambiguous - it could mean the patient has symptoms. I agree with "normal".

German term (edited): ein ruhiger Befund

a consistent result

Den Befund abholen, at a medical or X-ray lab, is picking up the diagnosis or results and, pace our regulars, 'picking up the findings' doesn't strike me as idiomatic (British) English.

Otherwise, findings is routinely used in the plural and doesn't work well in the singular.
Example sentence:

Many people (of all levels of ability) find it hard to answer, so you may want to practice before the appointment and use phrases such as ‘nearer’ or ‘far away’ until you are clear that a *consistent* response is being given.

Here are a few more sources to show the use of "quiet" ( not inflamed)in the context of Ophthalmology:

The results of the study imply that suddenly blurred vision in the quiet eye in the young adult, squint, and nystagmus in children could be chorioretinal inflammation and scar caused by Toxoplasma gondii.

Peer comment(s):

agree Teresa Finn : It's not a phrase I had come across before but on Googling here it is "Quiet"This means that the eye is not inflamed. No, before you ask, there is no such thing as a "noisy" or "loud" eye. You may see written in your notes "deep and quiet" or "D + Q".
