Spanish term

Investment Method Surplus

Spanish to English Other Accounting Auditor's Report
In an English translation of an Auditor's Report, the word, "Method", here, under the sub-heading, "SURPLUS", doesn't seem to ring true. There is also, "Investment" Method Reserve. I have the same misgiving.

You really need to give the Spanish here, no? Otherwise it's impossible, IMO

destination of the surplus: investment (reinvestment) - Reserves

Given the limited context, I would say that these are the ways to apply or to use the surplus, one way is to do investments, the other way is to constitute reserves (some of them are legally ordered, others are voluntary), these apply to an Equity (patrimony) account. This is as close as I can get. Hope it helps
