Italian term or phrase: sensorialità
Hi everyone,

I frequently find the word sensoriale/sensorialità used in Italian cosmetics.
Here's an example:

Fondotinta in polvere compatta dalla sensorialità cremosa e vellutata si fonde con la pelle...

I am not a fan of the word sensorial to be honest, but clients, especially Italian ones, seem to love it for some reason.
Do you think this sounds right:

"Compact powdered fountain with a creamy and velvety sensorially melts onto skin..."

I think a similar meaning can be conveyed in English with the word Feel instead:
"Compact powdered foundation with a creamy and velvety feel melts onto skin..."

Looking forward to your comments.

Thanks!

English translation:Feel / Sensation
Explanation:
You should go for one of these, but I would choose "feel" above "sensation", which is often used for foods and taste.

Example sentence(s):
  • "Thanks to the revolutionary Second Skin Technology innovation, its unique formula leaves a VELVETY FEEL on the skin and offers matte appearance for 6 hours which softens the appearance of wrinkles. "
  • "The moisturizer itself has a calming, firming sensation on my face, while the facial cleanser has a very creamy SENSATION."
