Total tax due
Explanation:
I think you can consider 'estatal' redundant, it simply means national/domestic.

Good ref. here from the always reliable Rebecca Jowers:https://www.proz.com/kudoz/spanish-to-english/accounting/213...

I don't think "estatal" is redundant, because you then have to differentiate between "estatal" and
"autonómico"

cuota íntegra estatal
gross domestic tax liability

Explanation:
No need for all caps, nor to repeat the question, nor - even in a mind-boggling heatwave - to mis-label as medical + economics when the query seems to be law - taxation.

estatal: domestic, though still reeling in : 'Contribuyentes residentes en el extranjero: La base liquidable general se someterá a gravamen aplicando la escala del artículo 63.1 Ley IRPF y la siguiente..'

cuota íntegra : (Esp) gross tax liability -> tax rate times the taxable 'basis', before tax deductions and credits (IMO: allowances and reliefs), West.

cuota íntegra : total tax liability, Alcaraz and Hughes (IMO confusable with tax liability on total income).

Otherwise, there must be doubt about the first, self-contradictory ProZ answer accepted of a *net* tax liability (before retentions and payments on account).

More context is needed for a personal income tax 'grossing-up' scenario vs. a (UK) corporation (AmE) corporate tax on profits (company income).

PS I am always wary of assertions that there are no direct e.g. UK equivalents in tax.

Example sentence(s):
  • Your total income is your gross income from all sources less certain deductions, such as expenses, allowances and reliefs.
