Danish term or phrase: søgt fremmet til dom
Anyone got an elegant way to express this? It appears at the end of a Retsmødebegæring:

Explanation:
I like the first answer, but do verily feel that any answer ought to fit the context: quaere > criminal in this case? A guilty plea in the UK will hasren or expedite the holding of a sentencing hearing and conviction duly meted out.

Otherwise, note the borderline, trite wording of 'the case will be sought to proceed' to shortcircuit: '..it will be sought / it will be endeavoured / to have the case proceed to...'

PS judgement is the Scots law spelling and used not only for someone have 'good judgement'.

UK will hasren = will hasten

Example sentence(s):
  • any hearing at which it is anticipated the defendant may be sentenced, which may include hearings where a +guilty plea+ is anticipated and the court will *seek to proceed to sentence*.
