Empecemos por distinguir dos tipos de preocupaciones. Seamos aquí muy simplistas. No se trata de etiquetar cada uno de nuestros pensamientos y distinguir si es ***uno de todo o nada***, si se trata de una personalización o despersonalización, ni si es un tipo de adivinación del porvenir. Vamos a lo fácil. Dividiremos las preocupaciones, tal y como lo hace Russ Harris, en útiles e inútiles. Las útiles son aquellas en las que puedes intervenir y están bajo tu control, y las inútiles, aquellas por las que nada puedes hacer. Por desgracia, estas segundas ocupan la mayoría de nuestros problemas.
