can anybody lighten me up on this one? Does this have anything to do with "gathering all forces at the grassroot level"?? or does it mean "all are equally bad".

Dette berømte sitatet stammer fra OL i St. Moritz i 1928. Da Norges lag i det militære patruljeløpet kom til den delen av løypa som besto av stupbratte fjellsider innhyllet i tåke ropte lagleder Ole Reistad "samling i bånn, gutter!" og satte utfor. Det resulterte i gull.
