Getting work orders to install a new steel door in the gorilla area; finding a keeper to get permission to go into the area

Going into the gorilla area and taking measurements for the door that will go up; tacking up the door to the gorilla area where the animal is kept; making sure the animal will not get out and harm any of the welders; kneeling down to work in a small area of the animal pen; taking the damaged door off its hinges and welding the side of the door that is damaged.

With help of co-workers, taking part of the door back to the welding shop because a piece doesn’t fit correctly; grinding the steel and drilling holes for the screws in the door; putting screws on side and making sure the door works properly.

Returning to gorilla area with door; installing door and making sure it works; re-tacking and reinforcing all welds; putting materials away; checking with keepers to make sure the door will hold properly
