Bus/Financial - Law: Taxation & Customs / Dividend tax refund application
Danish term or phrase: NemKonto pligtig
Hi - I'm trying to verify how best to translate this. The context is instructions on filing a refund request by a bank/financial institution to SKAT for a refund. The text is somewhat disjointed. Is this "if the customer is subject to a Nem Account" or could I just as easily express as "the customer is has a Nem Account" (and thus the refund should go to the Nem Account"

Thanks for your help!

required to have a NemKonto; NemKonto requirement
Explanation:
I would suggest using "NemKonto" for the sake of clarity, as this is the term generally used. If space in the request form allows for it, you might add "(Easy Account)" after "NemKonto", for explanatory purposes only.

the customer must have an EasyAccount

Explanation:
First of all, the Danish Tax Agency (Skattestyrelsen - they are no longer called SKAT) refer to the NemAcount as an 'EasyAccount' (Not Nem Account). Secondly, I suggest using 'the customer must have' or 'it is mandatory for the customer to have' (an EasyAccount). I hope this helps! Skattestyrelsen has a lot of information in English online, and you should use their English terms to the extent possible to avoide confusion.
