Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Thank you for your help Ron - confirmation of the actual Act was highly relevant, and under the circumstances (legal context of part of the translation ), I prefer not to rely on the fact that 'its all over the www' - so are a huge number of unreliable and inaccurate 'google-translations' - hence my thanks that ProZ allows the opportunity of asking a qualified, native linguist like yourself -

Agree I totally agree with Johan. Whether or not the answer is easily found on the internet or in the physical or digital memory of an experienced translator is besides the point (with regard to the PRO/Non-PRO issue, anyway).

Non-Pro question? It seems to me that some users have lost sight of how to classify a question. This is what the site rules state: PRO questions are those that are asked by OR that are suitable for professional translators.

Non-PRO questions are those that are asked by people who are not professional translators, and that can be answered by any bilingual person without the aid of a dictionary

I am not too sure that the average Joe can answer this question without proper research...
