nemam neke potvrde, više pokušaj "pjesničkog" prijevoda:)))... psihoza jest stanje u kojem se određenim stvarima, pojavama i sl. pridaje "nenormalno" izrazit značaj, važnost... možda to jest na neki način abnormalna fascinacija, očuđenost...
a možda posluži kao inspiracija ili provokacija za stručni odgovor:)))

A person's world view or Weltanschauung may predispose salience to data matching those views. Because people live for many years, responses become conventional. At a group or community level, the conventional levels of significance or salience are slowly embedded in the sign systems and culture, and they cannot arbitrarily be changed.

RESULTS: A central role of dopamine is to mediate the "salience" of environmental events and internal representations. It is proposed that a dysregulated, hyperdopaminergic state, at a "brain" level of description and analysis, leads to an aberrant assignment of salience to the elements of one’s experience, at a "mind" level. možda čak i nenormalna/aberantna percepcija istaknutosti (posebno zbog prve rečenice citata) jer ako je ono što je "salient" (istaknuto) ono što percipiramo kao stvarno, onda je problem psihoze/šizofrenije o kojem se ovdje govori to što se ta istaknutost (stvarnost) aberantno ili nenormalno pripisuje internim reprezentacijama (internal representations), a ne vanjskim događajima (evironmental events).
