Cost calculations
I am doing a document on cost calculations and come across two ratios. One is debt over equity, which is the verhouding schuld/eigen vermogen and debt over assets. I cannot find what that means exactly. I find it means the same as "gearing" but as "gearing" is already used in the document, I would like to use a translation. Anyone?

Beide ratio's zijn soorten van gearing ratio's. De term 'gearing ratio' wordt ook wel op zichzelf gebruikt om de verhouding vreemd vermogen/eigen vermogen aan te duiden, maar bij mijn weten niet voor de verhouding vreemd vermogen/totale activa (= debt ratio).
