Visualizations are - roughly speaking - a visual representation of the music played: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_visualization. BTW, Milkdrop, a powerful plug-in for visualization, is by default included in Winamp.

I would not take 'Vorlage' - I think the artwork here does not refer to templates. Possibly artwork might refer to album covers (http://www.proz.com/kudoz/2165177) or visualizations (Winamp -> View -> Visualization).

Vorlage ist für mich etwas Fertiges (a good example would be a template). If the artist does some artwork himself then strictly speaking this is no longer a "Vorlage"...

In this case it seems OK to leave the original term; you canc heck it in the German wikipedia, if you like. 'Vorlagen', of course, is probably what it is, but only if you can expand them while working on your stuff (in the strict sense of the word).
