HELP!!
I'm translating a "pain quality assessment scale" which contains a lot of types of pain... I'm going to ask a few questions which will each be focused on another term, however the context is the same for all of them so when you suggest something you can see all the other types of pain and refrain from suggesting things that might get confused with one of the other types of pain....

So the text contains the following types of pain (with "examples" or clarifying terms in parentheses - also taken from the text) followed by my translation so far (if I have one)

1. Sharp ("like a knife", "piercing") חד
2. Hot ("burning", "on fire") חם
3. dull (nothing here...) עמום
4. Cold (like ice", "freezing") קר
5. Sensitive [to light touch or clothing] ('like sunburned skin", "raw skin") רגיש למגע קל
6. Tender [when something is pressed against it] ('like a bruise") רגיש ללחץ
7. Itchy ("like poison ivy", "like a mosquito bite") מגרד
8. Shooting ("zapping") חד וקצר??
9. Numb ("like it is asleep") קהות תחושה??
10. Electrical ("shocks", "lightning", 'sparking") חשמלי/מחשמל
11. Tingling ("like pins and needles", "prickling') עקצוץ/נמלול
12. Cramping ("squeezing", "tight") התכווצויות
13. Radiating ("spreading") מקרין?
14. Throbbing ("pounding") פועם?
15. Aching ("like a toothache") דואב??
16. Heavy ("pressure", "weighted down") לחץ
17. Unpleasant ("annoying", bothersome", "miserable", "intolerable") לא נעים??

Interestingly enough, the Heb. Academy gives רצוץ for aching and כאב או מכאוב for pain.
You can also differentiate by using a "supporting" word,
e.g., כאב מתמשך for ache, and כאב פתאומי for pain.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Ache and pain are not synonymous. Ache - a continuous, dull pain (in contrast to a sharp, sudden, or sporadic pain), which brings us back to how do I differentiate it from dull?
