We want to name our charter school. We are thinking of Learning Tree Academy in either Japanese or Latin.

If this school has an affiliation with the one in the referred site, I will choose my own answer above. I think it will be better to retain the same name. But, if you want a more Japanese-like name, this would be another suggestion.

"tree" is 木 (ki = "tree") in Japanese, but it may be possible to change this to 森 (mori = "forest, woods"):

学びの森アカデミー
manabi no mori akademii

Personally, I like this better.

BTW, I think it would be better to keep "academy" in its Japanese name, since "academy" is widely used in Japanese and is already a loan word.
