Combining religion and politics is the subject of many debates and discussions which forces us to raise the issue of
religion and democracy. In a world in full mutations, religion is sometimes needed to remedy political deficiencies,
mainly when facing persistent social and economic inequalities. Religion, believed to be a synonym of justice and
solidarity, may offer other social or spiritual dynamics.
