fiind un cuvânt inventat, m-aş juca puţin pe tema asta.
Am fost curioasă să văd cum sună în ebraică, dar se pare că "On Killing" nu a fost încă tradusă.

Încerc o posibilă etimologie a cuvântului.
Există în ebraică tendinţa frecventă de a „ştiinţifica” lucrurile/numele, în mod ironic, bineînţeles, prin adăugarea sufixelor „-log” (respectiv „-logie”). De pildă, cuvântul (în traducere liberă) „deşteptolog” e deja consacrat, însemnând „specialist în deşteptologie”, adică „mare dăştept”. „-log” şi „-logie” sunt atât de intrate în vocabularul colectiv al vorbitorilor de ebraică (în registru ironic), încât înclin să cred că au emigrat şi în morfologia altor limbi (în acelaşi registru).

Asker: Chiar daca e cuvant inventat pana la urma, e totusi intrat in vocabularul american se pare...din moment ce e neologism. Se pare ca in romana inca nu a fost transpus....
