If your facility has been visited for a long period of time by a person confirmed COVID-positive, thorough disinfection is required.
Leave the area undisturbed for at least three hours after the person has left, to allow aerosols to settle.
Cleaning staff should wear N95 mask, disposable gloves, eye goggles and disposable gown.
Thoroughly disinfect all surfaces using disinfectant, bleach solution or alcohol preparation.
Note: a stepped-down protocol is acceptable if a person has simply passed through.
