Reference: Bluelight proper name? Reference information: The www.bluelight.gov.uk site was initially launched in November 2004, to provide an E-Tendering solution available to all Emergency Services. A large number of Police Authorities and Fire & Rescue Services have signed up, a list of which can be found on the Member Authorities link on the left hand side. https://www.bluelight.gov.uk/portal/CMS.nsf/vHomePage/fSecti... I think it is a reference to the blue strobe light atop official cars |
