non-food handling tasks Explanation: Having worked in catering supplies... Working with food, there are food handling tasks - chopping, preparing etc and non-food handling tasks - wiping and cleaning surfaces, pushing trolleys, carrying trays etc., for which hygiene is also required. So non-food handling food tasks are those tasks related to the preparation and (possibly) serving of food but not directly touching/handling the food. |
