French to English Science Nuclear Eng/Sci Nanotechnology

Does English use a similar abbreviation for 'nanotechnology' as French uses 'nanos' for 'nanotechnologies', please?

No one term, but... Can't think of any English term that expressly means all those things, but I would stick with "nanotech" because by definition, it implicitly involves all those things. I mean, if you're part of a "discipline tournée vers" nanoparticles or nanomaterials, then you are in a nanotech field.

I've come across a note in my text explaining that 'nanos' is being used to cover all the following terms: 'nanosciences, natochechnologies, nanosubstances, nano-objects nanoparticles, nanomaterials, nanoproducts'.
Not sure if we could come up with one term for all of these in English? ...

In the wider context of the article it's used for nanotechnology (nanotechnologies in French), generally.

I'm pretty sure it's short for nanoparticles. I haven't found it abbreviated.

Nanotech

If you want an abbreviation, this is the one we use. Here's a link showing it used in the name of a nanotechnology conference, Nanotech 2019:

That said, if you need the word to be plural in English, I would forget about the abbreviation and just say "nanotechnologies." I don't recall ever seeing a plural version of "nanotech."

As far as I know "nanotechnology" would be the term to use, and there is no abbreviation in EN.
