German term
Bodengrün
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)
This is listed as a component in a coating composition to be used on floors.
It is a water-based composition containing wetting agents, thickening agents, pigments, fillers, etc. in various proportions, "sowie 5 Teile Bodengrün oder 3 Teile Bodenasche".
Any idea what "Bodengrün" means in this context?

forest green
Sounds like they're calling out a color name, and "earth green" might be what we call forest green in English?

I get a variety of shades of green (forest and otherwise) when I do a simple image search for that, but at least by breaking apart the word, that's what would make sense to me.
