German term

mamillenfern

German to English Medical Medical (general) Krankenbericht
Segment links 11 Uhr mit Haut (1 x lang mamillennah, 2 x lang
mamillenfern)

I believe that "mamillennah" means nipple filament but I don't know what mamillenfern means exactly. I believe I have exhausted my references. Anyone able to help me?

Yes, it's called "11-o'clock position" HTH
H. C. Centner (asker) Sep 28, 2014:
or even outer quadrant vs. inner quadrant 13:13 @Lirka, thank you so much. The Nipple filament is in the ProZ Glossary. I had no idea it was false...one never knows....

Do you know how the ziffer position in German is translated into english like 11h?
Lirka Sep 28, 2014:
or even outer quadrant vs. inner quadrant but definitely NOT nipple filament (whatever that may be)
David Tracey, PhD Sep 27, 2014:
Yes, I believe so.
H. C. Centner (asker) Sep 27, 2014:
Does this mean maybe nipple filament for mamillennah is perhaps incorrect?
David Tracey, PhD Sep 27, 2014:
Yes, also a possibility.
Donald Jacobson Sep 27, 2014:
? distal versus proximal It is likely also possible to think in these terms a well.
