Comme il s'agit d'une résistance ajustable, qui en fait travaille en potentiomètre, on devrait dire curseur, qui est le contact variable de cette résistance.
Par analogie à un transformateur disposant de plusieurs enroulements et de plusieurs sorties, on pourrait parler de prise intermédiaire.

Mais c'est vraiment le curseur d'une résistance variable... d'un rhéostat
