Master of Arts

Here Kala means Art and not the black colour. In fact, the Roman script is sometimes uncapable of expressing the correct spelling or pronounciation which leads to confusion.

Bachelor of Arts would be translated as Kala Snatak whereas Master of Arts is known as Kala Nishnaat.

neutral Anil Goyal : not sure. I remember 'snatkottar" being used for Masters degree.

Snatokottar Upaadhee is used when we're talking about Masters Degree in a general sense whereas this query is specifically concerned about a particular degree, hence the above suggestion sounds apt. Moreover, the Asker is seeking the English alternative.
disagree jamshed : If you want an apt suggestion, then Anil Goyal is correct. And if you are looking for an exact English Translation, it is "ART EXPERT", because, "Nishnaat", translates into "Expert".

It is getting really interesting. I request you to refer to a Master of Arts degree awarded by any University in India. If it is in bilingual form, it'd have Master of Arts as Kala Nishnaat only.FYI,Snatkottar means Post Graduate or Masters Degree, not MA
