A pillar of stadium geometry, vagy stadium shaped pillar
A stadium is a two-dimensional geometric shape constructed of a rectangle with semicircles at a pair of opposite sides.[1] The same shape is known also as a discorectangle,[2] obround,[3][4] or sausage body.[5]
The shape is based on a stadium, a place used for athletics and horse racing tracks.
A stadium may be constructed as the Minkowski sum of a disk and a line segment.[5] Alternatively, it is the neighborhood of points within a given distance from a line segment. A stadium is a type of oval. However, unlike some other ovals such as the ellipses, it is not an algebraic curve because different parts of its boundary are defined by different equations.

Köszönöm. Vannak hiányosságaim. A magyar nyelvben is, főleg az "új" helyesírási szabályokkal.

Note from asker:
Ez a semi-circular a félköríves, de nálam a rajz alapján tényleg elliptikus a forma. |
2-féle keresztmetszet van a rajzon: egy elliptikus, és egy félelliptikus. Az utóbbi az általad említett félköríveshez képest nyújtottabb egyenes oldalakkal rendelkezik. |
