Italian term
patinato
Italian to English
Art/Literary
Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting
Sculptures
Term used to describe plaster sculptures from the late 1800s, in particular by Paolo Troubetzkoy. Some examples:
Gesso patinato giallo ocra chiaro
Gesso non patinato
Gesso patinato grigio chiaro
Gesso patinato rosa chiaro
I think this does not refer to the bronze patina as it is a coloured finish.
Does anyone know the accepted English term for this. I was thinking of glazed or coated (or even patinated?), but I'm no expert in the world of art.
Many thanks for any help or references.

coated
Not an expert myself, but I think coated is better than glazed, which to me refers to firing and glossy finish.
