Italian term

Dermatologia plastica termale

Italian to English Art/Literary Medical: Health Care beauty treatments

Grazie anticipate.

Thanks to you all Many thanks to all of you for your useful suggestions. Mirella

For Ali' The treaments listed in the brochure are not specifically related to the use of 'heat' or 'cold' so thermal only refers to the fact that such treatments are carried out at the spa. Originally I thought that "Plastic dermatology at the spa" could be a viable alternative. Any suggestions? many thanks in advance.

Thermal Dermatology

Plastic Dermatology is an Italian invention. I would definitely use "Thermal" but be careful with "Plastic". Few people will understand why it is used in this context so it's better to keep the title generic. Since your client practices state-of-the-art techniques you might want to leave it to arouse curiosity.

Instead of \"plastic\" I\'d use \"Aesthetic\".

Your note - I\'d drop \"Thermal\" then making it simply \"Aesthetic\" or \"Cosmetic\" Dermatology without \"at the Spa\".

Besides, I couln\'t find any reference to the literal translation.

I can think of *non-surgical lifting* but it doesn\'t sound that appealing...
I will keep on searching.

neutral John Walsh : In "plastic surgery" the word plastic is used to imply "remodelling". Now it's more common to use "aesthetic" or "cosmetic". Here "plastica" is used the same way.
