note to asker... As a native speaker of English, I must let you know that your choice will sound very strange to an English speaker.

As far as usage of the words, cities do not "bear" or "produce" rice. Farms produce rice and farms are not part of cities.

In my comment, I used "town" because they are small and can be referred to in this way...I also recommended "areas" as a more normal choice.

I really don't like to see my colleagues make choices that will make their translations look strange.

it would be more normal in English to say "rice growing areas"

neutral Edward Plaisance Jr : we don't use "prone" this way...we use it to indicate bad things happen often in a place or to a person...for example: flood prone, avalanche prone, accident prone, etc
