Dear Colleagues,
I am translating a specification for the installation of telecommunications and air traffic service provider stations. These stations provide flight information in airports. On a form the term "barra de cabeceira" appears. Is this the bar that is placed at the end of a runway? The context indicates that the bar has lights and is angled. Could you tell me how to translate this for a US target audience?
Sincerely,
Douglas

Obrigado, Emma! A cabeceira é "threshold" e a barra da cabeceira é "transverse stripe", como indicado na referência.
