Spanish term

"igualdad y equidad"

Non-PRO Spanish to English Social Sciences Education / Pedagogy
I'm trying to find a good way of expressing the author's intention here, in differentiating between the two terms. This comes from an article on education, and assigning resources for better outcomes among underprivileged children.
I can't seem to come up with the right word pair to express what he is getting at.

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

equality and equity

'Equity is the state or quality of being just or fair with impartiality. Equity is justice achieved not simply according to the strictness of law, but in accordance with principles of substantial justice and the unique facts of the case. An equity is an ownership interest in a corporation or a property, usually calculated as a remaining value after deductions of debts and liabilities.'
www.thefreedictionary.com/equity
'Equality is the state or quality of being equal, a uniform character of motions and surfaces. It's a statement that two qualities are equal.'
www.thefreedictionary.com/equality

In the information the equality is concerning possessions whereby all would have the same or similar belongings. The equity is with respect to results, which come from case examples in isolation. For instance, to achieve equality of good standard results, teachers in rural communities can be paid an additional allowance.
