When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

social good

The ESY was founded on the principle that health is a social good and it
should be provided by the state equitably for everyone, regardless of social and
economic status (Law 1397/1983).

It appears that the terms 'social good' and 'public good' both refer to the same thing.

In economics, a public good (also known as a social good or collective good) is a good that is both non-excludable and non-rivalrous, in that individuals cannot be excluded from use or could benefit from without paying for it, and where use by one individual does not reduce availability to others or the good can be used simultaneously by more than one person.[1]

Social asset

An option.
(I recently did a translation about SANOFI and the term appears frequently in their blurbs and mission statements; ).
Out of curiosity, I just ran a Google search for "health is a social asset" and got over 3000 hits.

PS: FWIW, a similar search for Jane's suggestion gets more than 42,000 hits.

The reason I'm not posting an agree to Jane's correct answer is because, while I am happy using "goods" (pl) as a synonym for merchandise, I'm not terribly keen on the singular form. I prefer "asset", which I find slightly less abstract than the notion of "a good" in the sense of "the public good". I do, however, think that this is a PRO level query.
Example sentence:

Sanofi believes that Health is a social asset:

First: health is a social asset and thus a social concern
