excerpt from book
as is "...pochav zdiysnyuvatisya v USA z 1990 roku pislya priednannya derzhavi po Dogovory..."
just looking for confirmation actually...
and "priednannya" is the same as the Russian "prisoedinenie", right? I may be experiencing some linguistic interference between the two.

pochav zdiysnyuvatisya=was put into practice, realized, was carried into practice.
I would personslly stick with "was put into practice". Although it would depend on the general theme being discussed.Zdijnjuvatysya- in general in Ukrainian means realized. In the above sentence "zdijsnjuvatysja" is used in the more abstract as in to indicate ; was carried into practice, was put into practice, was implemented.
Yes priednannja is the Ukrainian equivalent of the Russian prisoedinenie.

to be implemented
One can often encounter compounds like "project implementation", "policy being implemented", etc. In terms of activities, it is more common to use "deliver", "realize" "carry out". The asker did not provide the preceding noun, which would be decisive in this case, however earlier proposed answers plus mine should cover the ground pretty much.
