Source text - Turkish 1990’lı yıllardan sonra Türkiye’de yeni üretim biçimiyle birlikte gelişen yeni bir sinema anlayışı ortaya çıkmıştır. Yönetmenlerin bireysel çabalarıyla kendi finans kaynaklarını yaratarak ilerledikleri bu yeni üretim yapısı içinde –festivallere, yurtdışı desteklere bağımlı, düşük bütçelerle çalışan– auteur kimliğine sahip Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Zeki Demirkubuz, Semih Kaplanoğlu, Yeşim Ustaoğlu gibi yönetmenler kurdukları sinema diliyle de dünya çapında ses getiren nitelikli, eleştirel ve kalıcı filmler ortaya koymuşlardır. Bugün, 90’lardaki üretim dinamiklerine sahip olunmasına rağmen –popüler sinema dışında konumlandırdığımız - yeni Türk sineması alanındaki (alternatif sinema, arthouse sinema, auteur sinema denilebilir), film üretiminde hızlı bir artış yaşanmaktadır. Sayıları hızla artan bu filmlerde de, Türkiye yakın tarihine ilişkin bugüne kadar ele alınamamış toplumsal ve politik sorunların ifade imkanı bulduğu görülmektedir. Translation - English With the development of a new form of production, a new understanding of cinema has emerged in Turkey after the 1990s. In the context of this new production structure in which the directors create their own financial resources through their individual efforts –festivals, working on low-budget films with foreign support– some directors who hold the 'auteur' status, such as Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Zeki Demirkubuz, Semih Kaplanoğlu and Yeşim Ustaoğlu, have created critical and lasting films that obtained world-wide acclaim by utilising the cinema language that they established themselves. Today, despite the fact that Turkish cinema –outside the scope of popular films– no longer possesses the dynamics of production which it had in the '90s, the film production in this new Turkish cinema field (which could also be called alternative cinema, art-house films, auteur films) has been increasing rapidly. It is observed that, through these films that are rapidly increasing in number, the social and political problems related to the recent history of Turkey which had not been addressed so far are given the opportunity to be expressed. While this new trend that is being developed along with the film inflation is bringing about a perception of cinema in which not the form but the subjects and the effort to bear witness to the truth dominates, the quest for the cinematic language that had been witnessed in the early '90s is evolving towards a structure that is dominated by the subject. Focusing on the event and its social and political nature leads to reducing the elements of the film to merely functional attributes, especially the depth of characters and the form in which they are introduced, and thus to the inability of forming sentences in the film's own language. Taking these films as the starting point, this article will focus on trying to understand what causes the cinema language problem in the field of Turkish alternative cinema. In an age in which every new form is rapidly exhausted, is focusing on the subject the only way out for the field of alternative cinema? Is this preference a resistance, a reconciliation method in order to survive in the face of what is popular, or is it related to the basic qualities of the cinema tradition in Turkey? Does the production network which is interwoven with the international financial resources has its share in this metamorphosis? Through these questions, the possible effects of the new trend on the artistic and critical nature of the alternative cinema field in Turkey are aimed to be discussed.

Source text - English Febrile Seizures: Febrile seizures are characterized as brief seizure episodes that accompany a high fever. The onset of febrile seizures typically occurs between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. These are one of the most common types of seizures in young children; in fact, they are estimated to occur in 2% to 5% of children 5 years and younger. Although the prognosis for a full recovery is typically good, in 3% to 6% of cases epilepsy later develops.
Neonatal Seizures: These seizures occur in very young infants but are often misdiagnosed given the typical infant's motor behavior (i.e., random motor movements). Although rare in full-term healthy infants (i.e., estimated to occur in only 0.5%), neonatal seizures occur at high rates in preterm infants. in fact, it is estimated that 20% of preterm infants will have this type of seizure. Besides immature brain development (e.g., cerebral dysgenesis), other causes for neonatal seizures include asphyxia, trauma, CNS infection, exposure to toxins, metabolic conditions, drug withdrawal of the mother, and accidental injection of anesthetics at the time of delivery (drugs intended for the mother). Although the prognosis can be related to the cause of the seizure, in general it is poor. Between 15% and 40% of infants with these seizures die and 35% are diagnosed as having mental retardation and/or cerebral palsy.
Neonatal seizures are often difficult to distinguish from infantile spasms, or West Syndrome (WS). In WS though, the infant has clusters of myoclonic seizures. Infantile spasms typically remit between 2 and 4 years of age; however, in 25% to 60% of cases, another seizure type develops. Infants with WS have a very poor prognosis: in 80% to 90% of cases, mental retardation is diagnosed. Death also occurs in a large number of children but mostly due to the underlying cause of the seizure (e.g., intrauterine asphyxia, CNS infection, traumatic brain injury, or neurodegenerative disease).
Benign Rolandic Seizures: Benign rolandic seizures are fairly common during childhood. These seizures, however, occur infrequently and typically at nighttime. In most cases, the seizures begin between the ages of 3 and 10 and remit by adolescence. The seizure involves rhythmical jerking of the face and upper extremities (one-sided). In rare cases, the focus of the seizure is the occipital lobe, causing visual symptoms such as illusions and hallucinations. AEDs are usually not necessary unless the seizures are frequent or occur in the daytime. These children are generally neurologically normal unless the benign rolandic seizure develops into a generalized tonic-clonic seizure. For the most part, though, developmental delays and neurocognitive impairments are not found and the prognosis is good.
Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome: Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) accounts for at least 3% to 5% of all childhood epilepsies and is one of the most severe forms (Wheless & Constantinou, 1997). The syndrome consists of multiple types of seizures, including tonic, atonic, myoclonic, and atypical absence. Prognosis is very poor: More than 75% of children with LGS have mental retardation, many quite severe (Wheless & Constantinou, 1997). The earlier the age of onset, the more likely that mental retardation will occur (e.g. under the age of 2 years). Progressive loss of intellectual functioning is common during the course of the syndrome and is often attributed to hypoxia from intractable seizures and toxicity from continual AED use.
The age of onset for LGS is between 1 and 8 years (peak period between 3 and 5). LGS is slightly more common in males and in children with a prior history of infantile spasms. Possible etiologies include hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy due to a lack of oxygen at birth; intrauterine infection such as cytomegalovirus, rubella, and toxoplasmosis; traumatic brain injury; meningitis; tuberous sclerosis; brain tumors; and metabolic disorders. In one-third of cases, however, the seizure is considered idiopathic (unknown cause). Treatment is difficult secondary to the number and degree of functional impairments that these individuals have and the variety of seizures that are associated with the syndrome. Multiple AEDs are often necessary to control the seizures, but in 80% of cases the seizures will persist into adulthood. The National Institutes of Neurological Disease and Stroke (NINDS) estimate that 25% of individuals with LGS will have serious psychological and behavioral problems, including hyperactivity, aggressiveness, and poor social skills. NINDS data further indicate that only 20% of individuals with LGS will live independent lives.
Landau-Kleffner Syndrome: Landau-Kleffner Syndrome (LKS) is essentially an acquired aphasia with a convulsive disorder. LKS has an onset between the ages of 2 and 11 years and is characterized by deterioration in expressive language skills following a period of normal language development, Nonverbal cognitive abilities are not affected. The seizure is actually considered an epiphenomenon of the child's aphasia, not the cause. This condition is confused at times with Autism; however, with LKS the EEG is abnormal. The onset can be sudden, but it can also develop gradually.
Pseudoseizures: Pseudoseizures are episodes of altered movements that superficially resemble epileptic seizures but are not associated with abnormal neuronal firing. These seizure-like behaviors are found in 5% to 9% of patients referred to epilepsy centers but are more commonly found among adolescent females. According to Fenichel (1997), the ratio of adolescent females to males is 3:1.

Source text - English Cross contamination between surfaces is a common problem that can be effectively managed by the use of good hygiene practice.
Simply removing gloves and washing hands avoids the XXXXXXXX product migrating to undesirable locations such as the steering wheel of your car or machinery controls and further on to your home.
To prevent cross-contamination it is important to wash hands properly before operating vehicles, drinking, eating, using a telephone or entering a non-treatment environment.
Do not sow treated seeds in strong winds. To do so may result in undesirable transfer of treated seeds or dust to other areas of the environment.
When using a pneumatic precision drilling machine, the vacuum plate discharge air should ALWAYS be directed onto or into the soil by the use of deflectors.
This will also maintain the efficiency and accuracy of the drilling activity whilst significantly minimizing the impact on the environment.
To protect birds, mammals and other wildlife, treated seeds must be incorporated into the soil at proper sowing depth, in particular at row ends and field corners.
After drilling, ensure that left over treated seed is returned to the original bags so as to retain the product specific information that provides advice on the safe use and storage.
