I learned my ropes as a technical translator working for the US Army Coprs of Engineers in Bremerhaven. We supervised construction on many different projects, such as the renovation and modernization of the US Army Hospital in Bremerhaven, Germany. We covered the entire area of Northern Germany and our projects ranged from housing projects, to schools, commissaries to complete bases. In our role as construction supervision, all trades were included, not only the civil engineering part.
