I have been
a professional language service provider for nearly twenty years. I have worked
as a freelance translator and proofreader for a wide spectrum of clients across
several industries and have also been employed as an in-house translator for
two software companies (Tricentis and Runtastic). I have many years of
experience as an English instructor and lecturer at a variety of levels from
middle and secondary schools to universities (Treffpunkt Sprachen, University
of Salzburg, University of Art and Design Linz) to companies (staff and
executive training) to even having taught English to correctional officers at
one of Austria’s maximum-security prisons. Over the years I have developed a
broad range of expertise through study and practice in several specific industries
(see Services (link)). My key strengths are my attention to detail, adherence
to deadlines, and my willingness to put in the time to do the research and ask
questions, especially when it concerns industry-specific terminology.
