Source text - German Das Liquiditäts- und Fundingmanagement wird durch ein stringentes Liquiditäts-/Fundstransferpricing (FTP) unterstützt. Das FTP der BayernLB wird maßgeblich von den Einstandskurven sowie den FTP-Produktklassen bestimmt. Über Preisverfahren werden die relevanten Komponenten der Einstandspreise mit den Produktklassen zusammengeführt. Die Einstandskurven sind das primäre Steuerungsinstrument in der operativen Liquiditätssteuerung. Durch eine markt- und bedarfsinduzierte Satzstellung wird einerseits ein Ausgleich zwischen Angebot (Funding) und Nachfrage (Produkte mit Liquiditätsverzehr) geschaffen. Andererseits kann damit der aktuellen Liquiditätssituation der steuernden Einheiten Rechnung getragen werden. Die Ermittlung der Einstandskurven basiert grundsätzlich auf Marktpreisen. Ausgangspunkt sind die Kapitalmarktkurven in der lokalen Währung, welche die aktuellen Refinanzierungskosten der Bank widerspiegeln und sich bezüglich Fungibilität/Deckungsart unterscheiden. Die unterjährigen Kurven werden aus Geldhandelsätzen abgeleitet. Durch am Kapitalmarkt quotierte Preise für Zinsderivate wie Swaps oder Optionen werden, im Rahmen des Ansatzes der strukturkongruenten Refinanzierung, Transferpreise auf Einzeltransaktionsebene ermittelt. So leiten sich die überjährigen Fremdwährungskurven beispielweise über die primären EUR-Kurven und marktquotierte Spreads für Cross-Currency Swaps (CCS) ab. Somit entstehen im Rahmen des FTP unter Berücksichtigung von Kosten für Liquiditätsdeckungspotenzial (LDP) transparente, tenorspezifische und strukturkongruente Transferpreise auf Einzeltransaktionsbasis, welche sich beispielweise bezüglich Währung, Fungibilität/Deckung, Zinsfloor oder Optionalitäten, wie Periodenwahlrechte oder Kündigungsrechte, unterscheiden. Die Transferpreise werden täglich im Intranet veröffentlicht. Operativ sind die transaktionsspezifischen Refinanzierungskosten, welche durch ALM oder im Rahmen einer zentralen Datenverarbeitung von den anfragenden Einheiten eigenständig berechnet werden, ein wesentlicher Faktor, der bestimmt, ob Geschäfte mit einem Kunden abgeschlossen werden. Durch den internen Abschluss einer Transaktion mit ALM wird die anfragende Einheit von Zins-, Währungs- und Liquiditätsrisiken freigestellt. Die Informationen über die Refinanzierungskosten einer Transaktion werden in den bestandsführenden juristischen Systemen der Bank abgelegt und bilden die Basis für die Ergebnisaufteilung, die Performancerechnung und die Risikosteuerung. Die Ertragsteuerung der BayernLB basiert auf der IFRS-GuV.
Translation - English Liquidity and funding management is supported by stringent liquidity/funds transfer pricing (FTP). BayernLB’s FTP is largely determined by the cost curves and the FTP product classes. With the help of pricing methods, the relevant components of the acquisition prices are merged with the product classes. The cost curves are the primary management tool in the operational liquidity management. On the one hand, a market and demand-driven rate setting creates a balance between supply (funding) and demand (products with liquidity consumption). On the other hand, this allows the current liquidity situation of the managing units to be taken into account. The cost curves are generally determined based on market prices. The capital market curves are the starting point in the local currency, which reflect the Bank’s current funding costs and differ in terms of fungibility/cover type. The intra-year curves are derived from money market rates. Prices quoted on the capital market for interest rate derivatives, such as swaps or options, are used to determine transfer prices for each transaction as part of the structure-congruent funding approach. For example, the multi-year foreign currency curves are derived using the primary EUR curves and market-quoted spreads for cross-currency swaps (CCS). Thus, transparent, tenor-specific and structure-congruent transfer prices for each transaction are created under the FTP, taking into account the costs for liquidity counterbalancing capacity (LCC), which differ, for example, in terms of currency, fungibility/cover type, interest rate floor or optionalities, such as period options or termination rights. Transfer prices are published daily on the intranet. Operationally, the transaction-specific funding costs, which are calculated independently by ALM or as part of central data processing by the requesting units, are a key factor determining whether transactions are concluded with a costumer. By closing a transaction internally with ALM, the requesting entity is exempted from interest rate, currency and liquidity risks. The information on the funding costs of a transaction is stored in the Bank’s legal systems with portfolio management and forms the basis for profit allocation, performance calculation and risks management. BayernLB’s earnings management is based on the IFRS income statement.
