I am Norayr from Armenia. I have received my bachelor's degree at the American University of Armenia with English and Communication Major and a minor degree in Environmental Sciences. The topic of my Capstone project is "Tolkien's Songs And Poems in Armenian: Sound Symbolic Imagery im Translation." I started practicing translation by translating stories on touristic blogs from Armenian into English in 2016. Further on, I tried myself in literary translation by translating Armenian poetry into English, then, performed the translation of a historical book from Western Armenian to English, translated cultural and urbanistic articles from English to Armenian as well as embarked on translating A. Sapkowski's "The Witcher" books from Russian and English to Armenian. After obtaining translation experience in different fields and genres, I have decided to enhance my skills by doing freelance.
