Bio

Reliable English- Norwegian translator and an experienced language teacher.

Professional background as a language teacher (Norwegian, Norwegian as a second language, English, and French) with many years of experience in upper secondary school. 

Bachelor's degree in Norwegian literature and culture. In-depth studies in English, and French. 
Master's degree in pedagogy. Love working on projects within education and didactics.

Adaptable, solution-oriented, and willing to learn new things. Love to work in teams, but also focus on a task independently. 

I started my freelance journey recently, so I continuously look for possibilities to develop and broaden my knowledge. 

I have completed "Learn to Become a freelance translator" at the Translator Academy. The main topics were an introduction to working as a freelance translator, marketing, CAT- tools, the different types of translation, etc. 

I have focused on developing my skills in subtitling since I love to do that. I have done training with Ted Translators and some tests for companies, giving me valuable feedback. 

·       I have a special interest in nature and sustainability, literature, traveling, and sports. Yoga and the outdoors are my passions.
