... like 0 (zero - nought – nil - zilch) %
Unless you consider that research, documenting, reading, understanding, proofreading, etc. are not part of translation.

I give one English class a week to someone who asked me personally to do so.

I walk to the class, so I see it as a great chance to get some exercise and variety in my day.

I give English and German classes twice a week... a welcome "get-away" from the computer - especially during the summer months.

I only translate.
When living in France I did give some English lessons.
About 60 euros per hour translating
No more than 30 euros per hour for English lessons
Enough said!

All my income comes from translation. However, some of my time is spent on admin and marketing work, so I guess that counts as 'other than translation'. But even then it probably accounts for less than 5 %.

If the poll refers to admin, i. e. billing, tax returns, as well as maintaining hardware/software updated and in working order etc... I don't know, but whatever the percentage, it is too much for my liking.

Basically, I don't really enjoy doing things that I am not passably good at, and admin is one of these.

I try to outsource (ex. accounting and taxation) and use advanced software solutions to minimize management time.

Nevertheless there is still some time I need to spend for answering e-mails or phone calls and marketing, bidding etc. But I estimate it is no more than an hour a day, so more or less 10-15% of my working time.

In my case, it's a fair share of interpreting (about 15%), a negligible amount of proofing/editing and some admin.

I do one 5-day interpreting job a year, for clients that are more like friends.

When I get other requests for interpreting I usually pass them to send my son, but I did one small job a couple of months ago because he had another one lined up the same day.

Does ProZ count? Jun 29, 2011

I'd say 5% for invoicing, e-mail correspondence, and ProZ. Learning to use what I call "pesky portals" for delivering and invoicing takes a little time in the beginning.

I don't to proofreading any more.

I like to do desktop publishing, but I haven't had any work in that area for a while.
