se pourvoir means "to appeal to a higher court" but I don't understand why the author used that word in your sentence, unless your text is/refers to a court ruling that orders the lessee to return the equipment (then, if the lessee fails to comply with the lower court's order, XXX may lodge an emergency appeal for interim relief), which I doubt. Your sentence looks more like it's taken from a contract or similar, this is why I find the reference to an appeal to a higher court a bit odd. Therefore, you could translate "se pourvoir en référé" literally as "to lodge an emergency appeal" , but it might be ok to just translate it as "emergency application for an interim order", as suggested by Abdellatif (I would not use "summary", though, because "référé" is often wrongly translated as "summary proceedings" - for more info, check the glossaries as Nikki rightly suggested).
